25 Compressor Stations in 5 years. PLEASE OPPOSE HR1900!

There are 25 Compressor Stations in Susquehanna County PA now.
5 more are permitted.

All of this has arisen in the last 5 years.

NONE of these projects have been scoped or permitted by FERC,

due to a regulatory loophole.

INFRASTRUCTURE ATTACK

Take Action!

All across America hundreds of billions of dollars are being spent to build pipelines, compressor stations and export terminals with the clear intent of stifling the development of renewable energy supplies and locking us into decades of dependence on fossil fuels. Not surprisingly Republicans in the House are pushing a bill designed to ensure that all pipeline projects will be fast-tracked, even if that means short-circuiting critical environmental review. Please tell your congressional representative to vote down the misleadingly named Natural Gas Pipeline Permitting Reform Act.
For two years our friends in Orange County, New York have been valiantly fighting the Minisink compressor station, which was built in the heart of their residential community. They’ve appealed to New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand for help, but so far their pleas have been ignored. Please sign the petition urging Gillibrand to intervene on their behalf. (You can also call the Senator at 212-688-6262.)
