EARTHJUSTICE TO REPRESENT GAS FREE SENECA!!

The largest public interest environmental law firm in the world has partnered with Gas Free Seneca in preparation for the anticipated litigation against Inergy, LP, of Kansas City, MO and the proposed massive gas storage/ transport hub slated for the West side of Seneca Lake.

Earthjustice works to strengthen and enforce laws that protect citizens by preserving national heritage, promoting a clean energy future, and protecting human health. They average more than 40 major courtroom victories a year.

"Seneca Lake now has an excellent legal team to defend it", said Yvonne Taylor, Co-Founder of Gas Free Seneca in a live radio interview today.

While attorney fees will now be pro bono for the grassroots organization, fundraising efforts will continue in order to pay for expert witnesses necessary for this highly technical case.

Gas Free Seneca intends to maintain a strong relationship with their initial attorney, Richard Lippes, a noted environmental attorney, in the event that additional lawsuits need to be pursued.
