Chevron CEO: Must deal with the “legitimate concerns” that fracking is unsafe (video)

Couple of Chevron related items in the news.

1: "Occupy Chevron" is underway, aka "Farmer's Protest"
in Grabowiec, Zamość, area of southeast Poland,
where dozens of local farmers are blocking Chevron's
illegal occupation of land where they want to drill for shale gas.
(This region was featured in the film Drill, Baby, Drill
by Lech Kowalski)

2: CEO has been ordered by a federal judge to testify
in the case of massive contamination in Ecuador.

150 people on bikes in San Francisco demonstrated
10 days ago were calling for his resignation over the

3: I spotted this article today quoting Chevron's CEO John Watson:

Oil and gas producers must deal with the "legitimate concerns" that hydraulic fracturing is unsafe by adopting tougher self-imposed standards, Chevron Chief Executive Officer John Watson said in Washington.
Anyway, I poked around and found the video of his talk, 58 min:

Very interesting to hear how these guys think.
He starts talking about shale gas at 8:50, and mentions Pennsylvania.
Says some concerns are legitimate, some are "overblown".

Earlier, he mentions the Gulf incident as a turning point for industry.
Says "the public have high expectations".

Huh. If "high expectations" means not to do this,
imagine what we'd get if we had low expectations?
