Tar Sands "Oil" IS NOT OIL! It is bitumen, a heavy hydrocarbon which can only be converted to refined products like gasoline at extremely high monetary costs, energy costs, and environmental costs. It is truly EXTREME ENERGY.
Please write to the NPR/PRI program "Living on Earth" and ask them to correct the FACTUAL ERRORS in the show "Oil Addiction Boosts Odds For Keystone" which aired 2/7/2014.
