Oil and Gas Industry Guilty of Criminal Acts of Terrorism:

I love my friends who are working to "criminalize fracking".

However such legislation ("Public Law #1") does not exist now.
Not even a bill under consideration
in any legislative body that I know of.

Part of my strategy is to find how
fracking is already a crime
under existing law.

To this end, I've been reading the United States Code.
Here's a little nugget I found,
which could be used (for example)
in a complaint against Cabot Oil and Gas.

Summary of this law:

  • Lying to the Government: 5 years in Jail.
  • Lying while Putting humans lives at risk: 8 Years.
  • Lying while intimidating or coercing civilian populations: 8 Years.
Quick question:
  • Has Cabot, Williams, WPX, Spectra, Energy in Depth, API, IPAA,
Range Resources, Chesapeake, (or there contractors or agents)
lied to the government? like in any regulatory filings?

  • Have the put human lives in danger?

  • Have they paid EID, "Diversified Services" and others
    to intimidate civilians?

h/t to Bret J who asked me to look up
legal definition of "Domestic Terrorism"
from the PATRIOT Act.

This is Federal Law :  United States Code
