Those of you working for Home Rule in your towns, and on passing local
ordinances banning heavy industry (including fracking, etc.), might consider
attending the workshop below. (This is a followup announcement for this

It might be especially useful for town officials and others who are
interested in this strategy but uncertain about it.

I will be attending, along with some people from Otsego and Hartwick.

Hands on, How-To workshop.   Each town is unique, no law is
one-size-fits-all.  Newly released sGEIS, DEC¹s  permitting document will
serve as background.

* Back up findings and documentation to support bans such as long EAF,
comprehensive plans, CEA designations, agricultural districts, etc.
