Fracking REGs will not be complete by Nov 29 .(not SGEIS) More public hearings likely.

Are YOU ready for some GREAT NEWS??? NY DEC says Nov 29 SAPA deadline to complete fracking regs *WILL NOT BE MET*. New rulemaking process/public hearings on the way.... No fracking in NY for the moment, hopefully a long one ;)

(Sorry, a previous post contained an error. It's the REGs which are governed by SAPA, not the SGEIS, which is permitting conditions.)

Sue Rapp / VeRSE spotted this one:

``New York officials crafting policy to regulate shale gas drilling amid unanswered health concerns will likely re-open the process to public hearings, virtually guaranteeing more momentum for the movement that has effectively stalled the industry's advancement into the Empire State more than four years.``
