Dear GASLAND fans-

In light of Governor Cuomo's recent comments
delaying any decision on fracking in NY State,
and in the Thanksgiving spirit, we have a special message
from Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon.

We hope you have an amazing Thanksgiving.
We are very very thankful for you and everyone out there
striving to make a safer and better planet.

We will keep up the pressure and keep up the fight
worldwide but for now it is time to be thankful for
small moments of success.

Love and thanks,

Here's Yoko-

Dear All,

I truly believe that all of your work against fracking
had an effect on Governor Cuomo's recent comments.

We are glad that we have a wise and courageous Governor.
We are immensely lucky.

In celebration of this amazing turn of events,
I wish to thank you for all of your incredible efforts
in working day and night and
imagine a beautiful future for all of us.

For those of us living with fracking everyday already,
we are with you.
I know we are already in a frack free world in spirit.

We will be there in reality very, very soon!

Thank you, thank you, thank you,

Yoko & Sean

The recent news was not all good. The new water regs are an industry giveaway:

We still have work ahead of us.
But this news is fantastic!
WOW! You must hear this!

Gov. Cuomo's comments on Fred Dicker Show, Nov 20 2012...

OUR GOVERNOR on gas industry PR (IOGA-NY):
  • "Yeah, well they get paid to make an argument, and that's what they do."
  • "People don't want to be poisoned."

I certainly agree with Josh, Sean, and Yoko

that these comments seem to reflect a shift in our Governor's thinking.

It seems he IS LISTENING TO US!

So be grateful! Say your gratitude prayers...
And starting tomorrow, and every day

you must keep up the pressure.

May you, and all beings
be happy and free from suffering :)
