Hi Everyone,

In an age when public access studios are being consolidated and closed all around the country, we in Binghamton NY are bucking the trend.

We have been without a studio for 35 years.

Now, a group of people who have a vision of better media
have joined together and are forming a new non-profit
for the purpose of building and operating a new
public access television production facility, which
we are calling O2E-TV (Open to Everyone).

Once people complete a low-cost training program
which teaches basic skills of TV production,
use of the studio and other equipment will be
allocated FREE on a first-come, first served,
non-discriminatory basis.

We are having our kickoff meeting next Tuesday,
Sept 22, 7pm at the KNOW Theatre, 74 Carroll St.
in downtown Binghamton.

We would be honored if people from the ACM or
the surrounding areas who have studios (i.e., Ithaca)
would attend to help share the vision of what is possible.
