Awakening to the Dream

My friend Mary wrote:
"To see your drama clearly is to be liberated from it."

This is an amazing truth
which forms the basis to
Yoga, Vedanta, Buddhism.

Remember the beginning of Waking Life?
Children playing a game.
The message is: Dream is Desire.

In Vedanta, the apparent material world
is simply a projection from the mind of God
into the field of Maya (illusion).

Time and Space,
Energy, Matter
Name and Form,
Desire and Objects,
Pleasure and Suffering,
Ego and Others
(seeing Apparent Separation)
Victims, Villains and Heroes
are all part of the Drama.

The players and the audience
are all all just aspects of the dream.

By our choices,
conscious or unconscious,
We all are co-authors of the dream.

The entire purpose for the study of Vedanta (and Buddhism)
is to be liberated from the dream, by awakening to it.
It is in order to see the dream clearly.

Check out the study and practice of
Yoga (Patanjali), Vedanta (Bhagavad Gita), and/or Buddhism
for more on spiritual practice.
