Topics to be discussed, but not limited to:
Structural Geology, Fracture Mechanics, Rock Mechanics, Appalachian Tectonics, and the economic and environmental impacts of gas drilling using: high volume, slick water, hydro-fracturing (fracking) and the cumulative environmental impact it may have on Pennsylvania.
Dr. Anthony Ingraffea and Dr. Terry Engelder are foremost internationally recognized authorities on this technology who are coming share their combined expertise and answer questions from the audience.
Dr. Ingraffea’s and Dr. Engelder's presentations will be followed by an open "Q & A" session.
The “Q&A” panel will include: Dr. Ingraffea, Dr. Engelder, award winning “Gasland” documentary film maker, Josh Fox, and Craig & Julie Sautner of Dimock, PA.
Also invited to attend and participate in the panel are: former PA Gov. Tom Ridge, The Penn State Cooperative Extension, Kathryn Klaber of the Marcellus Gas Coalition, gas company representatives, local and state legislators: the Sullivan County Energy Task Force, and the Sullivan County Commissioners.

Thanks for posting this. Both Dr Ingraffea and Dr Engelder are thoughtful advocates of differing views.
In Pittsburgh we have a radio station running a series called "The Truth About Marcellus". I will await to hear if it is as unbiased as promised, however the heavy sponsorship by entities with commercial interest prompts skepticism.
