What stinks in Endicott? Parts I+II (photo essay)
Photo essay in 2 parts.

GO HERE -- THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR:
  1. PART1
  2. PART2
What we know to be true:

  1. Landfill leachate from Broome County Landfill is being imported into Endicott by EIT
(confirmed by Endicott Village Trustee Joseph Nirchi)
  2. Landfill leachate from Seneca Meadows Landfill is being imported into Endicott by EIT.
(confirmed by multiple confidential sources -- tonight 10/8/13 confirmed by Mayor John R. Bertoni)
  3. Seneca Meadows takes drilling waste from Pennsylvania.
    see: http://www.fractracker.org/2012/03/where-does-the-waste-from-pas-marcellus-wells-go/
  4. Trucks have been observed at the EIT Waste Treatment Facility in Endicott which were followed to the Williamsport PA area. (Williamsport area is being heavily fracked and many millions of gallons of wastes are generated daily).
  5. For years, the owners of EIT have been trying to develop the treatment of fracking wastes as a business model for profits. (links to published stories are in the photo essay).
  6. For several months, Village of Endicott residents have been reporting EXTREMELY FOUL SMELLS coming from the area of Price Chopper/Oak Hill Ave. (the location of the Waste Treatment Facility).
Here is the 2 part photo essay:

Last night, 10/8/2013 I asked Endicott Village Trustee Nirchi (who is chief of security at Huron Campus where EIT leases space) "Is EIT importing fracking fluids for treatment?"

How do you think he answered? Choices:
a) YES, b) NO, c) I DON'T KNOW d) THAT'S A COMPANY SECRET

Read his answer for yourself!
Please share this information widely, that despite the NY Moratorium, NY is already being impacted by drilling wastes from Pennsylvania. THIS MUST STOP!

More on this story is coming soon.
