DO NOT weaken SEQRA!

I have already submitted an online form opposing these changes to SEQRA, but I wanted to add a personal note.

SEQRA is a good law. The problem is getting the DEC to even follow the existing law. We opposed the i3 Electronics SPDES permit, which had major problems throughout the process, which we documented here: http//TinyURL.com/StopTheStinkTrucks .

The DEC seemed to act in collusion with industry, and rather than wanting to protect the environment, they actually advocated FOR the permit despite dozens of documented flaws with this process.

To suggest weakening SEQRA any more than it already is, is just unconscionable.

Please DO NOT TOUCH this important law, and ENFORCE THE LAWS which are on the books!
